The Flatiron Room is a whiskey lover’s dream with selections ranging from around the world.

Care for a drink? Jameson and ginger ale is my usual. Occasionally, it’s a New York Sour or a Fireball. Nothing fancy. As you can tell, I’m a whiskey girl. But when I do want to get fancy, my go-to whiskey bar is The Flatiron Room – a culturally curated whiskey bar with selections from around the world.

It’s one of my favorite places to go after dinner for live jazz and a night cap. The Flatiron Room is something to be experienced; not a stop along your bar hop route. The best spot in this establishment is the cozy enclosed booth located off the side of the stage. It is sectioned off with thick curtains for privacy, but a small window lets you appreciate the music.

The nights I remember most here are in this booth catching up with friends and sharing a whiskey flight and finger food. The Flatiron Room offers half a dozen flights ranging from bourbon to single malts to Japanese whiskey.

If you really want to make a night of it, you can go for late night eats in Korea Town nearby where many places open till 3AM or later. This makes The Flatiron Room a great spot to the end the night in NYC. Cheers!
